When it comes to dressing your windows, you need something which will complement your interior style and desired atmosphere. Whether you have a traditional or modern home, you cannot go wrong with window shutters. Shutters provide varying levels of privacy and light penetration depending on the style you choose. Oh So Shutters supplies and installs a broad range of wooden shutters, allowing you to choose the perfect style and colour for your home.
Based in Brighton and Hove, we design, manufacture and fit shutters for customers across East Sussex and the nearby counties. This includes areas such as Chichester, Dorking, Eastbourne, Haywards Heath, Horsham, Oxted, Reigate and Worthing.
At Oh So Shutters, we provide solid hardwood shutters made using sustainable timber. This can either be paulownia or basswood. We never sell MDF shutters because we are passionate about providing the highest quality products. With hardwood, we can be sure every customer receives durable, attractive window shutters which fit flawlessly and are worth the investment.
We believe shutters can enhance every area of the home, which is why we also offer PVC shutters. These are ideal for bathrooms because they can withstand the high levels of moisture and fluctuating temperatures.
We supply shutters in all shapes and sizes and in a selection of 30 colours. Options include three different louvre sizes: 63mm, 76mm and 89mm. We measure and survey for shutters before ordering them to the customer’s request and manufacturing to the window. Our team expertly fits your window shutters and we provide a 5-year warranty.
The following are some popular styles. To see examples of the different styles installed in our customers’ homes, please view our previous work.
Full-Height Shutters – Cover the full length of the window from top to bottom. They can also be used for doors.
Café-Style Shutters – Cover the bottom half of the window, adding privacy while still letting lots of natural light in.
Tier-on-Tier Shutters – Cover the entire window but have top and bottom panels which you can open independently, giving greater control over light and privacy.
Tracked Shutters – These shutters are hung on a track rather than being hinged at the side, allowing them to fold away to the side – perfect for large windows and openings, such as bifold doors.
Solid Panel Shutters – Shutters without slats, helping achieve near-blackout light reduction. Inspired by traditional Victorian window coverings, solid panel shutters also provide thermal and noise insulation.
Custom Shapes – If the shape of your windows is awkward or unusual, we can fit custom-shaped window shutters.
All shutter options are available to homeowners in Brighton and Hove, Chichester, Dorking, Eastbourne, Haywards Heath, Horsham, Oxted, Reigate, Worthing and the surrounding areas.
